Duel’s live Blackjack table is closed indefinitely. Duel announced the closure on its official Discord on September 17, 2026, citing an incident at the studio. There is no ETA for the table returning.

If you came here because the table is offline: that is why, and the closure is confirmed by Duel itself. Originals Blackjack — the in-house card game in the Duel Originals lobby — is a separate product and is not part of this announcement.

What Duel said

The announcement was posted to the official Duel Discord on September 17, 2026:

The Duel Blackjack table is closed indefinitely due to an incident at our studio. The entire building has been temporarily shut down because of an intruder. We are still awaiting a full situation report from the studio, but our understanding is that the suspect is in custody and no one was injured. We don’t have an ETA yet for the table coming back up. Please bear with us, we’ll announce any updates on the situation.

Duel categorically condemns violence or threats of violence in all possible forms.

That is the whole of what has been officially stated at the time of writing.

What we don’t know

We are not going to fill in the gaps, so to be clear about the limits of the above:

  • Duel says it is still awaiting a full situation report from the studio. Its own account is preliminary.
  • There is no police or independent confirmation of any detail we have seen.
  • No ETA has been given for the table. “Indefinitely” is the operative word.

We have no information beyond the announcement, and we are not speculating about what happened, who was involved, or why. If you see a version of this story with more detail, check whether it has a source.

Is Originals Blackjack affected?

No. These are two different things that share a name:

  • Live Blackjack — the streamed table filmed at a physical studio with a human dealer. This is what is closed.
  • Originals Blackjack — Duel’s own software card game inside Duel Originals. No studio, no dealer, no camera. Nothing in Duel’s announcement concerns it.

What else is running

Duel’s announcement is about the physical studio and the live table it hosts. It does not mention the rest of the site, and the other Originals are software games that do not depend on the studio.
